Through our Clean Water Project, The Road From Karachi is committed to providing life-changing water pumps to communities in developing countries, giving families access to safe, clean drinking water. Every water pump installed helps improve health, supports education, and creates brighter futures for generations to come. By supporting The Road From Karachi, you're not just celebrating authentic food—you're helping bring one of life's most essential resources to those who need it most.
Our mission began in 2021 when our first water pump was installed and since then The Road From Karachi has been able to fund plenty more through sponsorship, events, book sales and charity cooking sessions. We strive to continue this amazing fundraising effort in order to provide clean water to India, Africa, Sri Lanka, Gaza, Pakistan, Syria, Kenya, Yemen and Afghanistan and need your support.
Corporate Sponsorship
If your school or business would like to sponsor a water pump for £300 this includes your name and logo on the pump itself along with the Portsmouth crest. Images of the water pump will be sent to you after it has been installed. Pumps are purchased from One Nation and Alkhair and the installment process can take up to 9 months to complete. The donation also helps us to continue the project and deliver workshops in schools about how to save water.
So far, we have had water pumps installed in the names of Nosh Box, Coastal Kitchen Family, Rok Marsh, Lady Kendal Jagger, Cybrid, The Bumble Bee Cafe, Queens Hotel Southsea, Electro Gear, Hop & Glory Pubs, Shaping Portsmouth and HSDC.
